A file node facilitates hosting one or more NAS Servers. Each File node exposes one or more physical Ethernet SLICs to enable access to file system data.
Steps

Select
and click the
NODE INVENTORY tab.
The following properties display:
- FILE Version—File version
- Name—Name of the node
- ID—Node ID
- Director—Director associated with the node
- Health—Health indicator
- Services Status—Services status indicator
Click
to view additional properties.
The following properties display:
- Status—Description of node status. The Node and Port status are the last known status and may not be available if the director hosting the nodes is out of service.
- NAS Server Count—Number of NAS servers associated with the node
- Network Devices—Number of network devices associated with the node
- Alerts—Associated alerts
